I have a $ 20 gift certificate for a relatively nice restaurant - probably a $ 20 a plate restaurant. Do you think it would be tacky to use the gift certificate while on a date? Would it matter if it was a first date or a 10th date?

hmm idk, out of all of my research I have never faced a question like this. It’s a great question too. I really don’t know how I would feel if a guy did that…I guess it would be kind of tacky for a first date. I would wait for the second or third date to wip that baby out. Unless she seems like that type of girl that wouldn’t mind and just laugh it off…I still don’t know though. Parts of doing something like that seems tacky, but then again it seems like it would be ok…Ugh! I just don’t know!
No, my gf and I use coupons on dates all the time (we’re both 16 so we’re short on cash lol).

I think the certificate is a very good excuse to ask out a girl. Tell the girl that a friend gave you a certificate and said the restaurant is good. Ask if she is interested in trying out the restaurant.
