Question by Jersey Girl 25: Whats a good idea for a gift to go with a airline gift certificate?
My brother and I are joining together to get my dad a $ 150 gitft certificate for Continental airlines so he can come see us in Florida. I would like to give him something else as well that is related. I work at Disney World so he is already going to get free passes into those parks and I cant really get him a gift certificate to a car rental company because they dont sell them.

How about a small travel bag to put the ticket in……….then you have a theme going!
Carry on bag.
Sturdy luggage? The stuff he’ll need for his carry-on (plastic bag, etc)?
Does he have any pets or anything that he’ll need someone to sit for while he’s visiting you? If so, make up a fake certificate to pay for $ 50 towards a pet sitter or house sitter or something.
Then you can pay the sitter when the time comes.

You could make a certificate good for a hotel room or car rental, to be redeemed to you once he provides his travel dates. Then present him with the room key or car key when he arrives.
An in-flight comfort bag, containing eyeshades, earplugs, an inflatable pillow, socks, a good book, a disposable toothbrush, comb.
a travel bag filled with all the travel basics.
