Question by : Does returning a wedding gift and requesting a gift card show up on the givers credit card?
I've received a wedding gift that I don't want. I returned it with a shipping label and requested a gift card. Does the original gift giver know that I returned it? Will it show up on their credit card statement? I feel bad - but we just don't need it.

Ask the a customer service rep from the store from which the item came from. Explain the possible embarrasement and see if they can just give you a straight credit gift card or store credit. Each store handles things differently, but most likely you will not have a problem with it showing up on the giver's credit card.
