Question by Niki: Can you buy a visa gift card the same way you buy a regular gift card?
I was planning on buying a visa gift card for a friend and I wanted to know if you can just get the visa gift card and pay for it with cash like a regular gift card or are there restrictions?

Answer by BungalowMo Nope...no restrictions. I believe you can go to any bank & get one. You don't have to be an account holder.
It's better going to a bank or credit union, because you can put what you want on the card, rather than the store face value, which is a preset amount.
